YouTube’s founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen recently announced MixBit, a 16 second video platform for use with mobile device video cameras. Several of these short clips may be combined. It is available now for iPhone and in September for Android. Learn more about MixBit here.

Video on Instagram by Facebook, offers a 15 second video platform for mobile device upload. And the company recently announced you can upload videos you shoot with any camera and edit on your computer. Just save them on your phone and upload from it. Learn more about it here.
