Last Thursday Twitter introduced Vine, a platform for distributing videos with a six-second limit. According to Twitter, “Like Tweets, the brevity of videos on Vine (6 seconds or less) inspires creativity. Now that you can easily capture motion and sound, we look forward to seeing what you create.”
Already, Gap has posted a video with quickly moving still images of products. Urban Outfitters has a six-second video of a “bear in the office.” NBC New York posted a video of a dolphin stuck in a canal.
