San Francisco Board of Supervisors has voted to mandate that employers offer six weeks of paid leave for new parents at 100 percent of an employee’s salary, making the city the first place in the U.S. to enact fully paid family leave. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/dads-are-big-winners-in-san-franciscos-paid-family-leave-law/

The Labor Project for Working Families recently hired AVC Video to make their 20th anniversary video. They had loads of photos and had a talented writer on their staff. AVC helped edit the script, hired professional narrator Lee Tsofilas, filmed one interview and through the magic of Mitch Silver’s video editing, completed the video on time and on budget.
