Disaster Preparedness Via Video

Recent events serve as a reminder of the importance of disaster planning. Here are some videos that we made for training and for encouragement to have a plan in the case of a disaster.

Earthquake Preparedness is a video we produced for Kaiser Permanente, Richmond. After an industrial chemical spill caused an overwhelmed ER, the medical staff decided that video would help to train staff to deal with earthquakes and other disasters.

 

Fire Ruin Renewal, the Oakland Hills Fire. Twenty years ago, Oakland firefighters saved the home of photographer Margaretta K. Mitchell.   She asked AVC to help her produce this video as a tribute to the firefighters and to show how how this Yelland-designed home could be renewed.
