AVC’s Jara Ra — Musician by Night

AVC’s videographer, Jara Ra, is also an accomplished musician, fronting the New Orleans jazz band, Blue Bone Express. The band was recently featured in Oakland Magazine.  According to the article, “Bandleader, trumpeter and pianist Jara Ra’s vocals have been compared to Louis Armstrong and Tom Waits—take your pick. While mastering a traditional Mardi Gras tune, BBX shines.”
